This is a website that has learning resources for preschoolers to 8th graders. It is easy to use, and teachers could filter their searches by subject, resource type, date, popularity, or relevance. PBS Learning Media provides interactive videos, games, and activities that the teachers could use as a part of the school computer program and share with families to incorporate at home as an extra learning activity for the children.
Erikson Institute online learning has a professional learning module that offers workshops and courses for professional educators. The website is great because it provides content knowledge, suggestions for teaching, video tutorials on how to teach young children, and explanations on how the activities supports the foundation for math to spark mathematic thinking in the future. The website follows the Common Core State Standards for learning.
Farm to School Program
Farm to School Program is a website created by U.S. Department of Agriculture to assist educators with setting up curriculums that incorporates farm and garden to the schools. Educators are encouraged to create real life experiences for children where they can learn how to plant, flower, care for animals and observe these organisms go through the cycle of life. They have links to webinars and YouTube videos to teach adults with seeding success and files with useful information such as recipes, nutrition education, culinary etc. It also provides links to other programs for grants and assistance to schools who want to provide nutritious programs. Overall, there are resources to help educators promote hands-on activities, encourage children to develop healthier eating habits, and teach children how to appreciate farms and gardens.
Ms. Penny is an advocate for early childhood education and possess a master’s degree in early childhood education. She is the founder of KidVision Pre-K in collaboration with South Florida PBS. She offers teachers 10 C.E.U or 100 In-Service Hours for $40 membership fee. The YouTube videos features 100 field trips and ideas to guide professionals how to teach children in preschools. The program follows the Head Start Early Learning Framework, ages birth to five, and the Florida early learning and developmental standards. The tutorials included lesson plans and students’ assessments for use in the classrooms and zoom meetings in Spanish and English.

There are fifteen videos under the “Classroom Ideas” tab curated for farm education and some of the videos are great for pre-k children like “Farmers at work,” “I want to be a farmer,” and “Animal farm.” The website also has a “free printable” tab with lots of worksheets that can be sorted by grade and topics.
FUN-A-DAY provides educators with ideas for teaching preschoolers & kindergarteners. They categorize the articles in domain and themes. They also provide free printable and links to stores where the teachers can buy materials needed for the projects. To help educators understand the entire process, there are detailed steps instruction with pictures and YouTube video tutorials.
